People & HUman rights

writing songs with meaning

I was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. Both my parents are of Irish descent and singing is what the Irish do.

After completing my studies in teaching I moved to Austria to study German.

But it was always only about music for me.

And music took me around the globe . Miami, New York, Tokyo, Rio de Janiero and the whole of Europe.

I have had the honour to record with some of my own personal favourites: Lou Gramm of Foreigner, Geddy Lee of Rush and have opened for bands like Deep Purple, Wishbone Ash and Bobby Kimball of Toto.

But the Business side of Music was never mine and I prefer to hold a normal job to support my big family so that music can remain my passion and I can remain independent.

I am self-taught and completely free to write and sing whatever and whenever I want. I write songs about Causes, Human Rights and individuals caught up in the evil machine of injustice that is destroying our planet and lives.

But music is not enough !

I believe in individual responsibility. That´s why I do solo actions to highlight Causes and throw some light on the injustices many innocent people face. From the concentration camps in China to the jails of the USA.

Cheers

Joe
